Welcome to Second Act Dance

We are Mara Alfano and Ellie D’Amico. 2 high school students on a mission to source and donate gently used dancewear to individuals or studios in need. Every year, countless dance costumes are worn once or twice and then forgotten, contributing to the growing problem of textile waste. As lifelong dancers, Ellie and I noticed this and wanted to make a difference in our community. That’s why we founded Second Act Dance—to collect and redistribute gently used dancewear, helping families save on rising costs while promoting sustainability.

We proudly serve dancers in Bucks County and Montgomery County, and we’re extending our reach beyond these areas by special request. Whether you’re nearby or a bit further away, we’re here to help you find the perfect costume and give it a second life. By doing this, we’re not just supporting dancers; we’re also taking a stand against the wastefulness of fast fashion.

So, if you have a costume, shoes, or accessories to donate or need some for your next performance, get in touch with us. Together, we can make a difference—one costume at a time.
